"Chinggis Khaan's Cavalry Rides Again" Specific Historic Show was organized by the Japan Mongolian Joint Venture - Namasat in the summer of 2006 in the framework of the celebration of the 800th Anniversary of Great Mongolian State. It is highly regarded by foreign and domestic visitors alike. Now the organizers have decided to organize the show in 2007 once again.
Five hundred warriors on horseback in full armour and blades slowly emerge from behind a nearby hill. Leaders cheer their soldiers before the battle. Soon the dust and the roaring hooves of the horses come with the hurraying shouts ('Khurai' in Mongolian) from the warriors covering the battlefield with humans, horses and dust in front of the spectators' eyes.
The show takes place at Central Asian Festival Camp in the vast, breath-taking valley of Undur Dov in Tuv Province, only 55 km from Ulaanbaatar City.
At the camp compound, fantastic Mongolian folk performances are held before and after the show, including traditional song and dance, throat singing, horse head fiddle play as well as fashion shows of traditional clothes, contortion, shaman dances, pop rock concerts etc.
Various public services ranging from shops for handicrafts, garments, clothes, stamps and antiques to ger museums, restaurants and pubs can be found in the main bazaar. Restaurants having European, Asian and Mongolian traditional cuisines are highly appreciated by travellers. Travellers enjoy camel cart and horse riding, as well as photos with warriors in full armour. Travellers can be accommodated in nearby tourist ger camps.
In addition to all these, you have a good chance to visit a nomadic family and experience their lifestyle. Travellers have lots of sightseeing opportunities around the camp and we are sure you will enjoy the day trip very much!

- Location: The Central Asian Festival Camp in Undur Dov in Tuv Province, 55 km to the south of Ulaanbaatar City.
In the morning, our guide and driver pick you up from your hotel and drive to Undur Dov. En route, we visit a nomadic family and experience their unique lifestyle.
We drive to show camp at 12:00 pm and enter the gate. We watch Mongolian folk performances and traditional dress fashion show on an open stage during the afternoon. You have an opportunity to have your lunch at the camps open air restaurant having delicious European, Asian and Mongolian cuisines.
At 4:00 pm, we enter the show lodge and the fantastic show starts. When the show finishes at 5:30 pm, we go back to the folk performance stage to watch other cultural events.
At 6:00 pm, we depart to Ulaanbaatar City and you are transferred to your hotel.
