Continental Hotel

Continental Hotel is located in a calm area of foreign embassies within easy reach of Sukhbaatar Square. Walking 8 minutes to the north will take you to the Square, of course, in winter you may need to take a taxi. From the hotel, you have easy access to other destinations such as Central Post Office and Parliament House.

Walking from the Hotel to the west (around 0.4 km) will take you to the MIAT Mongolian Airlines ticket office, Khan Brou Pub, Drama Theatre and an Irish Pub. Firstly, you walk to the north along the nearby main road heading to Sukhbaatar Square or Enkhtaivan Avenue (0.4 km), then turn left just before the street joins the Enkhtaivan Avenue and continue walking west along a calm street and you will find the famous Khan Brou Pub on the crossroad and 100m to the west is the Irish Pub.

Note:

If you want to catch a taxi to go out of the hotel, you may need to walk to the nearby main road, which is not far from the hotel (approx. 150 m) in case you do not find any taxi passing by your hotel. Alternatively, you may ask the hotel front desk staff to call a taxi for you. The taxi fee can be more expensive from here if you drive for a short distance, for example shorter than 1 km, to reach Sukhbaatar sq., State Department Store etc. The least taxi fee from here can be 1,500 tugrik's - equivalent to USD 1.00).
