"The Continental hotel staff were warm and very welcoming when I arrived shortly before midnight, and the room was spacious and simply but adequately furnished. But when changes in my travel schedule forced me to rearrange the days of my continuing stay, the hotel was unable to accommodate me on site (they had large tour groups coming from the wild and all rooms were booked), so the staff transferred me to their sister hotel, the Tuushin Hotel, where I stayed for the balance of my time in Ulaanbaatar. Tuushin does not have the amenity of a fitness center that Continental does, but it is much more conveniently located for the walking guest -- half a block from Sukhbaatar Square, rather than Continental's four long, bleak blocks to the central square. It was also rather less expensive. Both more than met my wants!"

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The interior decor (especiallly pseudo-renaissance paintings) is very cheap looking but overall we had a pleasant stay."
