Kempinski Khan Palace Hotel, Ulaanbaatar
Kempinski Khan Palace Hotel is located along Eknkhtaivan (Peace) Avenue which is one of the main roads of Ulaanbaatar City. All the major tourist destinations such as the Sukhbaatar Square, the Central Post Office, National Museum of History, Natural History Museum, Sky Shopping Centre and the State Department Store are only a seven minute drive from the hotel. The hotel is also located next to a major shopping street (called Sansar) where you can find many canteens and cafes providing Mongolian food and other public services such as banking, shopping, telephone cards and hairdressers. Two bus stops south of the Kempinski Khan Palace Hotel lies the Narantuul Market (black market), one of the most interesting markets in Mongolia.

If you are arriving from the Ulaanbaatar Railway Station, it is very easy to find the Khan Palace Hotel. Take Enkhtaivan Avenue and drive eastward for approximately seven kilometres until you reach the East Cross (Zuun Dorvon Zam). The gray facade of the hotel is easily visible at the north side of the cross.
It is equally easy to reach the hotel from Chinggis Khaan Airport. After crossing the Enkhtaivan Bridge, join Enkhtaivan Avenue again. Now simply follow the directions given above to reach the hotel.
There is another alternative route to reach Khan Palace. Take Narnii Zam road just before crossing Enkhtaivan Bridge, then follow the road until you reach the crossroad before Narantuul Market. Turn left from here and drive northward until you reach the East Cross where the hotel is located.
