  • Book Now

The Dutch and Mongolian founders and owners of the resort started the construction in April 2004. They developed the plan to build a unique holiday resort in this magnificent place.

The opening of a comfortable Tourism Gercamp Resort (with original furnished interior), was completed in 2004. Many European and Mongolian guests have already enjoyed and experienced staying in these traditional Mongolian gers.

Tiara Resort is specially built to be open year round. The resort suits visitors who appreciate comfort and highly qualified service in the middle of a unique national reserve. With the construction of 12 mountain villa's and luxury hotelrooms, a recreation centre with a tropical swimming pool, first class restaurant, small cinema, computer game hall plus more Tiara Resort is the first luxury and comfortable all inn holiday resort in Terelj.

Terelj National Park is recognised as a part of the huge Khan Khentii Reserve and was established as a Strictly Protected Area in 1992. The park's most spectacular features are its huge granite blocks and cliffs as well as meadows rich in wild flowers. All of this sits against a background of pine covered mountains. At an average elevation of about 1600m (some peaks reach 2900m) the park is rich in flora and fauna and reminds of beautiful alpine valleys. Its green meadows carpeted with edelweiss and a dazzling variety of other wild flowers attract nature lovers. There is a wonderful hiking and horse riding area. You can visit a nomad's family or just let yourself be absorbed in the serenity of nature.

Only the central area has accommodation and a small village. The rest of the area is uninhabited and can be entered only by foot or horseback.
