Mongolia has numerous events going on throughout the year. We have listed some of these below, and we think they are a great time to come visit! Place: State Opera & Ballet Theatre, Ulaanbaatar City (3 Mar 2012)La Boheme is one of the best operas of G. Puccini. It was first performed in 1896 in Italy. The opera is about lives of artists lived in 1830s in Paris.

Camille du Locle, the artistic director of the Opéra-Comique, commissioned Bizet to write an opera based on Mérimée's novel in early 1873 to be premiered at the end of the year. However, difficulty in finding a leading lady delayed rehearsals until August 1874.
