Not a luxery hotel by any means and having working girls knock on your mates door at 7 am certainly makes for an interesting wake up call. Close to all the attractions in the city though.

It is ideally located within walking distance to most sites and museums of Ulaanbaatar as well as being close to a great many tour companies for booking your excursions. Restaurants and shopping abound along Peace Ave which is just a 2 minute walk away. The huge Sate Department store is just a 10 minute walk away. The staff speak english and are most helpfull. Although old, the rooms are well kept and the house keepers do a good job keeping them clean. The standard double room is adequate but the deluxe room is well worth the little extra charge, you even get a bath tub which is great. All in all we had a great stay at the Kharaa Hotel.
